Jianghao Liu is an economist who focuses on market manipulation, securities class actions, and complex investment and trading strategy analysis. He assists clients in responding to regulatory examinations such as internal inquiries, enforcement actions, and government investigations. Mr. Liu has presented economic analysis to regulatory agencies and provides support in all stages of litigation, including deposition and expert testimony.

Mr. Liu has conducted economic analyses related to issues of damages, class certification, loss causation, and price impact during shareholder class actions in the US. His economic analyses involve a wide range of financial products, including equities, fixed-income instruments, futures, and options. Mr. Liu has conducted statistical analyses to calculate lost income, damages, and fund performance in matters involving securities lending, market manipulation, and quantitative trading strategies.
