The North American South Asian Bar Association, which advocates for the legal needs and interests of the South Asian community, held this year's annual convention in Chicago on 26-29 June 2008. The convention featured a variety of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions examining a wide range of national and local activities and legislative developments. NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Vinita M. Juneja participated in a panel discussion on the future of the subprime lending crisis. Dr. Juneja addressed current credit crisis litigation trends as well as economic approaches to class certification, causation, and damages issues that arise in such litigation.
