On 25 February 2010, NERA Senior Vice President and Environment Group Head Dr. David Harrison was invited by the Colleges of the Fenway -- a group of six neighboring Boston-based colleges in the Fenway area -- to provide an overview of the protocol that emerged from the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Copenhagen and its implications for US climate policy. Dr. Harrison discussed the issues of climate change in a global context and summarized the provisions of the Copenhagen Accord. Dr. Harrison also described a range of possible future US climate policies. He concluded with a summary of the fundamental issues and obstacles involved in developing both a global climate policy and a US climate policy.
