The World Bank and International Emissions Trading Association hosted the annual Carbon Expo on 25-27 May. The conference is the main global conference on carbon markets and emissions trading. NERA Senior Consultant Alon Carmel delivered a presentation titled “Auctions for Renewable Electricity—Lessons for the Use of Auctions in GHG Abatement.” Mr. Carmel participated in a World Bank side event on the Pilot Auction Facility (PAF) for CDM (methane) projects minimum price put options, which are run by the the NERA Auctions Practice.
