Managing Director and Bankruptcy Practice Chair Dr. Faten Sabry will discuss market efficiency and the use of market evidence in assessing sales processes and transactions and will examine recent valuation decisions including Dell and AOL at VALCON 2018. The conference is titled "Cutting-Edge Valuation Solutions," and is hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors. Dr. Sabry will be joined by other distinguished panelists in the session “Navigating Issues in Fraudulent Transfers,” where they will discuss frequent issues in assessing and litigating fraudulent transfer actions, including valuing contingent assets and liabilities and the use of market-based evidence as well as contemporaneous investments. The panel will also speak on the pending US Supreme Court case Merit Management Group LP v. FTI Consulting Inc.
Dr. Sabry is also a member of the conference advisory board. NERA Associate Director Timothy McKenna and Senior Consultants William Hrycay and Ivelina Velikova will be participating in the conference, as well.
