London, England
26 February 2009
Hosted By: Water UK
Following publication of UK water companies' draft business plans in August 2008, there is a continuing need for substantial investment to maintain past improvements and the reliability of services in the face of more extreme weather conditions and climate change in the years ahead. This conference, to be hosted by Water UK in London on 26 February 2009, will bring together industry experts, regulators, government representatives, analysts, and investors to discuss the future of finance and investment in the UK water sector. NERA Director Dr. Richard Hern will deliver a presentation entitled "Cost of Capital -- What is Appropriate in the Current Climate?"
