In this NERA seminar, held in Paris on 2 December 2009, Director Emmanuel Llinares, Special Consultant Pim Fris, and Vice President Sébastien Gonnet addressed the issues being raised by a recent French draft bill that would impose transfer pricing documentation requirements on large companies, effective as of 1 January 2010. The presentation emphasized the importance of documentation as an internal and external communication tool. It included detailed and practical recommendations on how to structure relevant and useful transfer pricing documentation as well as how to phase it in and manage its implementation over time. The presentation also noted the need for large companies to account for and manage other areas that are impacted by transfer pricing policy.
