NERA Vice President Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska participated in this teleconference on the effects of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on energy derivatives regulation. The program was hosted by the American Law Institute and American Bar Association on 27 October 2010. Dr. Brown-Hruska, a former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, was joined on the panel by Ann A. Hawkins and Mark D. Young of Skadden Arps. Together they outlined the new Dodd-Frank requirements that affect energy derivatives, and discussed the economic impact of the new regulations.
