This conference examined the current law, policy, and economics of solar and wind energy development in Arizona, and featured an address by FERC Commissioner Marc Spitzer. NERA Senior Vice President Sandra Ringelstetter Ennis participated in a session on transmission. She discussed current cost allocation approaches, with a focus on renewable generation, and also discussed the status of merchant transmission projects and their role in transmitting renewable generation between markets.
