They delivered a presentation focusing on transfer pricing for emerging economies, with a particular emphasis on China. During the webcast, Mr. Gonnet and Dr. Llinares presented an analytical framework for addressing the controversial transfer pricing issue of location-specific advantages (including market premium) and the economic tools to identify, quantify, and apportion them. This presentation followed a number of initiatives from NERA's experts on the subject, including the publication of a series of three articles published in Transfer Pricing International Journal. A number of questions from the audience (including tax directors from leading European-based multinational companies) related to the current transfer pricing situation in China and the role that economic analysis can play in transfer pricing set-ups between Europe and China and other emerging economies.
