NERA Vice President Dr. Sugandha Tuladhar presented "Environmental Policy for Fiscal Reform: Can a Carbon Tax Play an Important Role?" at the 3rd annual summer conference of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) in Banff, Alberta on 6-8 June 2013. The presentation examined how carbon tax revenue can be used to address the US debt problem, as well as the tradeoffs of various deficit reduction strategies including personal income tax and corporate income tax swaps.
