NERA sponsored Securities Enforcement Forum 2013, which brought together current and former senior SEC and DOJ officials, securities enforcement and white-collar attorneys, in-house counsel and compliance executives, and other top professionals in the field to discuss the most pressing and important issues and trends in the world of civil and criminal securities enforcement.

As part of the program, NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Graeme Hunter participated in a panel discussion entitled "FCPA, SEC/DOJ Joint Actions, and Other Recent Criminalization Trends." Dr. Hunter was joined by Kara Brockmeyer, Chief, SEC Enforcement Division's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit; Jeffrey Knox, Chief, Fraud Section, US Department of Justice's Criminal Division; and Cheryl Scarboro, Partner, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Joseph Warin, Partner at Gibson Dunn, moderated the discussion.

Securities Enforcement Forum 2013 also featured an afternoon keynote speech by SEC Chair Mary Jo White, and a morning keynote speech by SEC Commissioner Troy A. Paredes.
