NERA Affiliated Consultant Dr. Alexander Voegele joined Manfred Naumann, Undersecretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, and Professor Dr. Jörg Hernler of Seitz Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater for a seminar in Frankfurt on 2-3 December 2013 that addressed the issue of base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS). Dr. Voegele, Mr. Naumann, and Professor Hernler presented the major cross-border tax planning models, and discussed their future viability in the context of current developments as well as better alternatives.
