NERA Vice President Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska, former Commissioner and Acting Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will participate in a panel discussion at the Market Manipulation and Spoofing Policy Forum, which aims to promote a better understanding of CFTC rules and policy relating to market manipulation and spoofing. The Forum comprises a half-day program of panel discussions and presentations from industry and from the commission on key elements of market manipulation and spoofing policy and rules, changes, and evolving perspectives.

Dr. Brown-Hruska will join Michael Dunn, Senior Policy Advisor at Steptoe & Johnson LLP and a former Acting Chairman of the CFTC, in a discussion called “Agency Leadership on the Direction and Tone of Manipulation Policy Across the Decade, and Looking Forward.”
