NERA Managing Director Dr. Jeff D. Makholm will participate in the panel session, “The New Market Conditions in Latin America’s Energy Space,” at the 8th annual Latin Lawyer Oil & Gas Conference. Dr. Makholm will join Alejandro Faya Rodriguez, a Commissioner on Mexico’s Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE), and Marcelo Páramo Fernández, a partner at DLA Piper, to discuss recent political changes in Latin America and their impact on oil and gas. The panel will examine new legislation that encourages private investment in energy markets and the effect it will have on Latin America’s energy space.
