Director Sébastien Gonnet and Principal Ralph Meghames co-presented “Applying the Transactional Profit Split Method and Performing Financial Valuation” as part of the Advanced Transfer Pricing Course at WU, Vienna University of Economics and Business, held 2–6 July 2018. The first part of the lecture dealt with the profit split method, its application, and methodological developments brought about by the recently published OECD guidelines. In the second part of the lecture, both experts presented case studies of the profit split method’s application. The second part of the lecture covered financial valuation, including key concepts, the link between valuation and transfer pricing, and case studies, particularly ones including valuation under uncertainty.
