CMS Singapore, together with NERA Economic Consulting, is organizing a breakfast briefing titled “The Issues and Steps in the Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy.” NERA Director Benjamin Chee will join CMS Partner Adrian Wong, Marsh & McLennan Companies Research Manager Jaclyn Yeo, and SP Group Head of Sustainability May Liew to discuss the steps companies are taking to increase resilience against climate emergencies as part of the global transition to a low-carbon economy. Mr. Chee will review corporate renewable purchase trends and the tools available to help companies in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

While momentum is growing, low-carbon initiatives are still not taking off at the desired pace. This briefing will provide an overview of the major pressure points that continually reshape business environments and why corporate climate resilience matters. We will discuss practical tools and solutions that corporations can leverage in their transition.
