With the increasingly technical nature of international disputes, expert evidence has become a recurring theme young arbitration practitioners must manage. When problems arise, what are the solutions?

On 10 June 2022 at 13:45 BST, Associate Director Ralph Meghames—joined by ArbLit Senior Associate Flavio Ponzano and Sedlex Avocats Partner Dr Elza Reymond-Eniaeva—will participate in the ASA Below 40 Spring Event in a session called “What Co-operation Is Expected Between Counsel and the Expert?”

In the discussion, Mr Meghames and the other panelists will present a multifaceted perspective on challenges that may arise when:

  • Reviewing the timeline of expert evidence, starting when the need for an expert first arises;
  • Determining the manner in which expert evidence should be presented in arbitration;
  • Discussing the issues that arise in relation to expert evidence; and
  • Communicating and liaising between counsel and experts.

The event will be held at Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland.
