El Director Gerente de NERA Oscar Arnedillo y la Consultora Senior Marta Moro escribieron un capítulo para el libro: “Impuestos en el sector eléctrico”. El objetivo del capítulo, titulado “Un análisis comparado entre la fiscalidad de la electricidad y de otras fuentes energéticas” es presentar una comparación entre los precios de la electricidad en España y los precios de otros productos energéticos como el gas natural, la gasolina y el diésel. En este capítulo el Sr. Arnedillo y la Sra. Moro analizan tanto los impuestos como otros cargos no fiscales incluidos en el precio final de los diferentes productos energéticos y sugieren varias propuestas para reformar la fiscalidad energética en España, a fin de minimizar las distorsiones en las decisiones de consumo y mejorar el bienestar social.
NERA Experts Contribute to the Book Taxes in the Electricity Sector
NERA Managing Director Oscar Arnedillo and Senior Consultant Marta Moro wrote a chapter included in the book Taxes in the Electricity Sector (Dialnet). The objective of the chapter, titled “A Comparative Analysis between the Taxation of Electricity and Other Energy Sources,” is to compare electricity prices in Spain and other energy product prices, such as natural gas, gasoline, and diesel. In their chapter, Mr. Arnedillo and Ms. Moro analyze taxes and other non fiscal charges included in the final price of the different energy products and suggest several ways to reform energy taxation in Spain to minimize distortions in consumption decisions and to improve social welfare.
