Developing a New Tariff Model for Southern Water

A team from NERA supported Southern Water by developing a tariff model to set tariffs for the company’s water and wastewater customers. The model aims to ensure tariffs remain cost reflective, as required by Ofwat’s Charges Scheme Rules, and make the tariff structure more progressive to protect less affluent customers.
