Assessing the Economic Case for Using Customer-Level Flexibility Resources for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks

NERA worked with Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) to develop a comprehensive cost benefit analysis framework to appraise a range of alternative flexibility options aimed at accelerating network connections. Our framework aims to inform strategic decision-making on network development to help achieve net zero efficiently and optimize whole-system outcomes.
