Elena Pascale is an economist who applies rigorous economic and financial analysis to regulatory and market issues in several sectors, with a focus on energy. She has extensive international arbitration and dispute-resolution experience across different industries, including LNG, renewables, natural gas, real estate, and telecoms, with engagements in Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
Ms. Pascale has worked on damage estimations, financial project valuations, and financial performance assessments. In arbitration matters, she has been involved in cases related to contract negotiations and commercial disputes, including the financial valuation of LNG contracts and power purchase agreements in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Beyond energy, she has contributed to disputes in other sectors—recently providing financial valuations for the casino sector and for real estate—and has experience in the telecoms sector in Latin America, evaluating regulator benchmarks to assess competitiveness.
Before joining NERA, Ms. Pascale was a senior consultant at a consulting company in Uruguay, where she gained broad economic and financial consulting experience and an expertise in macroeconomic issues.
