Shaun Tey is a trusted economist who specializes in antitrust and competition matters. He has substantial experience managing market reviews in the telecommunications sector (mostly wholesale broadband and telephony markets) and managing assessments of the BBC’s impact on competition.

Prior to joining NERA, Mr. Tey worked at UK communications regulator Ofcom, where he was a Senior Associate Economist. While there, he gained experience undertaking auction design for mobile spectrum auctions and econometric analysis for ex-post evaluations of Ofcom policy interventions.
