Urvashi Yadav specializes in the economic analysis of competition and regulatory issues in New Zealand and Australia. She has provided expert advice to clients across a range of sectors, including utilities, technology, banking and finance, and insurance.

Ms. Yadav’s work involves the economic analysis of mergers, authorizations, investigations, and regulatory matters. Her recent experience includes conducting economic analysis and preparing expert reports for a merger clearance in the fuel retailing sector and supporting investigations and litigation concerning consumer credit regulation. Her work has contributed to submissions before the New Zealand Commerce Commission and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Prior to joining NERA, Ms. Yadav worked at another economic consulting firm, where she developed a broad range of quantitative skills. Her work included analyzing large-scale datasets and conducting economic impact assessments and cost-benefit analyses to address public policy questions.
