For the sixth year running, NERA was a knowledge partner at the annual Americas Spectrum Management Conference, advising on the conference agenda. The event brings together more than 250 spectrum stakeholders from the US, North America, Latin America, and beyond. NERA Managing Director Richard Marsden delivered a presentation on complexity in auction design, with particular focus on the advantages and disadvantages of using formats with package bidding and optimization.
Mr. Marsden also chaired two panels exploring the legacy of the US 600 MHz Incentive Auction. The first session focused on complexity in auction design, and the second session on the on-going process of repacking broadcasters in UHF spectrum and clearing 600 MHz spectrum for mobile use.
