On 28 April, Associate Director Dominik Huebler will participate in Strommarkttreffen (Energy Markets Meeting). Mr. Huebler will give a talk titled “Regulating CO2 Transport—Lessons Learned from H2?”
Mr. Huebler will discuss the status quo of hydrogen and CO2 transport networks and their regulation. He will explore the provisions foreseen for hydrogen conversion in European gas market regulations, the German debate about a possible state-owned hydrogen grid operator, and the extent to which these developments provide lessons for the expansion of CO2 transport networks. At the end of his talk, there will be time for Q&A.
Other Strommarkttreffen sessions will cover topics related to electrolysers and their implications for power networks and gas infrastructure.
Registration for the live event has closed but a livestream will be available. For more information and to register for the event, please visit Strommarkttreffen Anmeldung 2023.
