NERA hosted the 4th Düsseldorf Economist’s Meeting at the Haus der Universität in Düsseldorf. Director Jens Rubart moderated the session with Baker McKenzie Partner Heiko Haller and Senior Associate Maximilian Sattler, who used practical cases to explain the world of arbitration. They discussed the role of economic experts in arbitration proceedings and the importance of cooperation between lawyers and economists.

The conversation also included suggestions for the best placement of arguments in pleadings, the importance of executive summaries, the reputation of experts, and preparation for cross-examination.
