On 28 October, NERA Senior Managing Director Benjamin Chee will present “Bankability of Flow Battery Products, Projects, and Companies” at Flow Batteries North America 2025 in Chicago, Illinois. This is the first dedicated conference in North America focused exclusively on flow battery technology. Organized by the Battery Council International and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, this event brings together industry leaders, researchers, investors, utilities, and innovators to explore breakthroughs in flow battery innovation, commercialization, and grid-scale energy storage solutions.

Mr. Chee will discuss key factors influencing the bankability of energy storage and flow battery projects, including market design, contract structures, and financing mechanisms, drawing on his extensive experience in market incentives to highlight pathways for successful deployment and investment.

Mr. Chee will speak alongside Mustang Prairie Energy President Richard Baxter and DNV Energy Storage Advisory Consultant Naphtal Haya.
