On 4 December, Senior Managing Director Yves Hervé will moderate the “Financial and Industrial Policy” roundtable at the Tax & Legal Excellence (TLE) Annual Conference 2025. The TLE Conference will address Europe’s role in a world in upheaval. Geopolitics, geoeconomics, and security will form the framework for a debate on economic reality, legal leeway, and opportunities of new technologies—from cyber security to artificial intelligence. The conference brings together representatives from politics, administration, academia, and business for their perspectives and serves as an overarching international platform for networking with other top decision makers.

Dr. Hervé’s panel will include Princeton University Professor Harold James, BDI Head of Foreign Trade Policy Matthias Krämer, Aspen Institute Executive Director Stormy-Annika Mildner, and HHU Düsseldorf Professor Jens Südekum. The panel will discuss how geopolitical changes and other socio-economic factors impact the European and German economies and assess policy measures taken to mitigate related challenges.
