On 28–30 July, Senior Managing Director Emmanuel Llinares and Managing Director Thomas Meyer will speak on panels at the 16th Annual NABE Transfer Pricing Symposium.
On 29 July, Dr. Llinares will participate in the panel “Comparability Challenges for TP Analyses Given Volatile US Market Economic Conditions” with Barsalou Lawson Rheault Attorney Vincent LePaul.
On 30 July, Mr. Meyer will participate in the “How Can Economists Most Effectively Assist Judges as Experts in Transfer Pricing Litigation?” panel with United States Tax Court Senior Judge Albert Lauber, and Johnson & Johnson Vice President Tricia Rexford. The panel will discuss characteristics of effective expert reports and testimony, the challenges of developing and communicating economic analyses in complex cases, and practical ways experts can better assist courts in resolving transfer pricing disputes. The discussion will draw on real-world litigation experience and explore opportunities to improve the effectiveness of expert evidence.
