On 14 January, Senior Consultant/Principal Joel Davis will participate in the Carbon Forward Middle East 2026 conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Davis will speak in a session titled “Making Returns in Global Compliance Markets.”

As more countries adopt emissions trading systems (ETSs) and other cap-and-trade models, global compliance markets are rapidly expanding. This session will explore areas in which traction is evident, lessons from established markets, and how they compare to other compliance mechanisms. The session will particularly focus on the EU and UK ETSs.

Mr. Davis will speak alongside Climate Finance Partners Managing Director Mark Lewis, Shell Senior Advisor Malek Al-Chalabi, and Hartree Partners Global Head of Sustainability Strategy Muireann Mageras.
