Long-duration electricity storage (LDES) is expected to play a critical role in delivering a cost-effective, secure, and low-carbon electricity system. As investment activity accelerates across multiple markets and technologies, stakeholders face important questions around project risks, revenue frameworks, and financing models.

On 1 July, Senior Managing Director George Anstey will speak in a breakfast seminar titled “Financing LDES – The Next Frontier of Flexibility” hosted by CMS. The seminar will bring together developers, lenders, investors, and industry experts to discuss the evolving LDES landscape and the market mechanisms needed to support the deployment of this essential infrastructure.

Mr. Anstey will speak alongside CMS Partner Louise Dalton, Equitix Investment Manager Henry Charles, Statera Energy Investment Director Charlotte Frost, National Wealth Fund Managing Director Ingrid Edmund, and MUFG Structured Finance Energy Director Laureline Pastol.
