On 7 May at 9:40 am CEST, join us for a session titled “Accelerating Towards Sustainability: Hybrid Engines and Climate Change Arbitration.” Senior Managing Director Fabrizio Hernández will moderate a panel of speakers including International Institute for Law and the Environment Founding Director Ana Barreira, Jones Day Partner Antonio Canales, and Wordstone Founding Partner José Manuel García Represa. The panel will discuss the latest trends in climate-change related arbitrations, how tribunals’ decisions are shaping the obligations imposed by international treaties on emission reductions, and the legitimate expectations of investors in activities whose outcome may depend on climate change prevention/mitigation policies.
