New Directions in Antitrust

Chicago, Illinois
10 June 2009
Hosted By: NERA Economic Consulting

Over the last year, a number of antitrust developments -- from Leegin to a recent speech by Christine Varney, President Obama's Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust, rescinding the Section 2 guidance of the Department of Justice -- have changed the landscape for companies competing in the US economy. In this seminar, two of the country's leading competition economists -- Professor Michael Baye and Professor Henry Butler, both Special Consultants to NERA -- examined key economic issues and concepts that inform these changes and their implications for litigation and litigators. NERA Senior Vice President Dr. Ramsey Shehadeh moderated the discussion.
