Ms. Allen's presentation touched on forecasting and allocation issues in topical mass torts litigation including: pharmaceutical, environmental, lead and chemical exposure, and the effect of changing Medicare regulations. Other conference sessions focused on coverage and allocation issues in asbestos and other long-tail mass tort litigation, and featured panels on the impact the recent asbestos-related bankruptcy filings have on insurers, reinsurers, and policyholders and the evolving case law involving trigger and non-products cases.
