Hosted By: The Insurance Institute of London (IIL)
NERA Senior Vice President Mark Berenblut was invited by The Insurance Institute of London to deliver a lecture at Lloyd's of London on 23 January 2013 that focused on the use of economic analysis in insurance coverage litigation. Through the use of case studies, Mr. Berenblut outlined how the expert skills of valuation, economics, and forensic investigation can be brought together to help in the analysis of complex insurance issues, including D&O coverage, securities fraud, and products liability. His lecture drew examples from high-profile cases such as Stanford Investment Bank, Homestore Inc., and Enron. Mr. Berenblut also provided an update on class actions cases in North America and regulatory matters in the UK.
