NERA Director Dr. Sharon Brown-Hruska will participate on the panel “Applying Economic Principles to Financial Markets Regulation” at the Institute for Financial Markets (IFM) and George Mason University’s Mercatus Center “Smart Financial Regulation Roundtable.” The panel takes place on Friday, 3 November, in Washington, DC. Dr. Brown-Hruska will discuss how a practical, economically sound understanding of markets can benefit regulators. She will also discuss NERA studies on the costs and benefits of financial regulation implemented under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
