NERA Managing Director Richard Marsden participated in the Forum Europe Podcast Series episode titled “Across the Spectrum.” Mr. Marsden discussed the impact of emerging technologies on spectrum rights and licenses with a number of industry representatives. The panelists explored whether we are heading into a new period of conflict over access to spectrum, the scarce natural resource that is the lifeblood of the wireless communications industry. The topics covered include spectrum sharing, access to mmWave spectrum, unlicensed use at 6 GHz, and replanning of UHF spectrum.
