Associate Director Dr. Will Taylor will participate in the Competition Law & Policy Institute of New Zealand’s 2020 Workshop, chairing the session “Acquisitions of Nascent Competitors” on 21 August at 9:00 am NZDT. Dr. Taylor and other panellists will discuss:

• Killer acquisitions and whether the theory of harm is novel or a re-brand of issues competition agencies have dealt with before;
• The framework for and difficulties of analysing and litigating these cases; and
• If competition agencies have the right tools to deal with these cases.
