NERA Director George Anstey will participate in the seminar “Retail Energy Market Reform in the UK—Innovation and Adapting to Change, Consumer Protection, and Next Steps for Regulation,” taking place on Thursday, 6 February, in London. Mr. Anstey will discuss the relationships between market policy mechanisms, suppliers, and consumers in a session titled “Reinforcing Consumer Protection—Affordability, Energy Efficiency, and Supplier Responsibility to Consumers.”

The conference, as part of the Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum, will focus on the next steps for developing affordability, competitiveness, and innovation in UK retail energy markets.
