25 June 2021
Hosted By: CCP (Centre for Competition Policy)
New digital regulations and the possibility of additional consumer policies have placed consumer protection at the forefront of peoples’ minds. Nowhere is this more evident than at the intersection of consumer and antitrust policies. Have past regulations intending to protect consumers been effective? What does the answer mean for policies being considered today?
On 25 June, Director Grant Saggers will join the CMA’s George Lusty, as well as Amelia Fletcher and Kai-Uwe Kühn from the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP), for a panel discussion on reforming consumer policy at the CCP’s annual conference, “Rethinking Consumer Policy: Lessons Learned and Options for Reform.”
