NERA Economic Consulting, in partnership with Concurrences, will be hosting a virtual Competition Law and Economics webinar on “Economic Valuations in Arbitration Proceedings.” Managing Director Dr. Tomas Haug and Associate Director Dr. Alexandre Carbonnel will join Jones Day Partner Elie Kleiman, Quinn Emmanuel Partner Thomas Voisin, and University Paris, Panthéon-Assas Professor Jean-Baptiste Racine, to discuss damages in international arbitration and competition and quantification of economic damages.

Dr. Tomas Haug is a Managing Director in NERA’s Berlin office and specalises in providing economic assessment and damages quantification in litigation and international commercial and investment treaty arbitration proceedings at venues such as ICSID, ICC, DIS, PCA, and ad hoc for both public and private entities. Dr. Alexandre Carbonnel is an Associate Director in NERA’s Paris office and is an expert in competition and regulatory economics. He advises clients on matters including cartels and exchanges of information, abuse of dominance, merger control, and estimating damages in complex commercial litigation, where he has served as a testifying expert.
