On 9 November 2022, NERA Associate Director Dr. Soren Tang Sorensen will moderate at the Connecting the World from the Skies conference in a session titled “Hybrid Connectivity—Ensuring Interoperability and Complementarity.” Dr. Sorensen will be joined by Nokia Head of Dedicated Wireless Networks & Edge Cloud Jane Rygaard, Lynk CEO Charles Miller, Inmarsat CTO Peter Hadinger, Ofcom Head of Satellite Industry Engagement Elizabeth Quintana, and Guy Christiansen of Apple Worldwide Regulatory.

Dr. Sorensen and the panel will explore how space, air, and land communication technologies can complement each other to achieve seamless connectivity. The panel will also highlight the challenges of interoperability and the benefits of complementarity among mobile and satellite industries.
