NERA experts have experience designing and conducting surveys addressing issues of competition in telecommunications markets. For example, we have applied our survey expertise to help firms in the cable industry measure audience size and determine whether specific networks should be included in basic or premium subscription packages. In another case, we evaluated the use of surveys in the calculation of a cable company’s capitalizable costs.
