A book by Matt Sumpter with contributions from James Mellsop and Ben Hamlin
NERA Director James Mellsop made contributions to a recently published textbook on competition law and policy in New Zealand. Mr. Mellsop, who specializes in the application of economic analysis to legal issues in the area of competition, assisted with the drafting of a chapter on competition law economics, and also reviewed and provided comments on other chapters dealing with topics such as mergers, restrictive trade practices, and misuse of market power. New Zealand Competition Law and Policy was authored by Matt Sumpter, partner at law firm Chapman Tripp and lecturer at the University of Auckland's Faculty of Law, and also features contributions from Ben Hamlin, Senior Legal Counsel at the New Zealand Commerce Commission.
New Zealand Competition Law and Policy is now available as an online updating competition law service in New Zealand.
