He has 30 years of experience providing independent expert testimony and economic analysis for governments, regulators, and multinational corporations, with a primary focus on litigation and international arbitration. Dr. Dippon is widely regarded as a leading authority and thought leader in the quantification of damages in complex litigation and international arbitration, particularly in matters involving state-investor and commercial disputes, including expropriations and regulatory interventions.
Dr. Dippon has testified extensively before US federal and state courts, international arbitral tribunals (including ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, and LCIA), and regulatory authorities worldwide. Dr. Dippon’s expert evidence commonly addresses topics such as the quantification of economic harm to private parties and the public interest, aggregate harm analysis in class action disputes, market definitions, competition assessments, and policy design.
