NERA Senior Consultant Hans-Martin Ihle recently presented on the impact of excessive mobile license fees on consumers and chaired a session addressing spectrum pricing more generally at the 3rd Annual Asia-Pacific Spectrum Management Conference in Bangkok. The event brought together government officials, regulators, and mobile operators from the region to discuss spectrum management and policy. Mr. Ihle’s presentation was based on the findings of a recent NERA report for the GSMA, a trade body representing mobile operators worldwide.
