On 13 June, NERA and the GW Competition and Innovation Lab are hosting a roundtable discussion with Alan Grant and other leading experts in competition and business to explore antitrust issues, economics, and competition in payments.

The payments industry is experiencing changes in legal, regulatory, and technological areas, and these changes have implications for competition in payments. The roundtable aims to foster a thoughtful exchange of ideas on these developments and encourage discussions in articles and other public forums.

The discussion will be facilitated by a group of leading experts including Dr. Alan Grant; Paul Hastings Partner Allyson Baker; Consumer Bankers Association Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Policy Kelvin Chen; counsel on the US House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary Gustav Chiarello; Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz Partner Christina Ma; Morrison & Foerster Partner Mike Miller; and Bank Policy Institute Senior Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel Paige Paridon.
