On 31 October, Senior Managing Director Richard Marsden will participate in the 14th Americas Spectrum Management Conference, moderating a panel discussion titled “The Evolving Upper 6 GHz Band Ecosystem: Emerging Use Cases and the Policy Path Ahead” in Washington, DC. NERA is a proud knowledge partner of the conference.

The upper 6 GHz band (6.425–7.125 GHz) has become one of the most closely observed spectrum bands in recent years, with countries worldwide evaluating different approaches for its future utilization. With initial deployments in the band already in progress, the panel will examine current band usage and explore the technologies and emerging applications available, along with the policy framework put in place to support them. The panel will also highlight various technical and market challenges and the tactics that have been adopted to address these and encourage the development of a functional and scalable ecosystem in the band.

Mr. Marsden will speak alongside GSMA Director of Public Policy Campbell Massie, Amazon Public Policy and Connectivity Executive Kristine Hackman, Charter Communications VP for Government Affairs Audrey Mikula, and Dynamic Spectrum Alliance President Martha Suárez.
