NERA is proud to sponsor the 52nd Annual Conference on International Antitrust Law and Policy and Antitrust Economics Workshop on 17–19 September at Fordham Law School.

NERA experts will also share insights about merger remedies, pricing algorithms, and US antitrust policy trends.

On 17 September, Directors Dan Greenfield and Claire Xie will speak in the panel “Economic Assessment of Merger Remedies—Will a Shift Back to a More Permissive Regime Improve Consumer Welfare?”, discussing the implications of more permissive merger remedy standards for market competition and consumer outcomes. In the second panel of the day, “Economic Analysis of Pricing Algorithms—How Can We Balance Economic Efficiency Against Potential Competitive Harm?”, Directors Kristopher Hult and Erin Johnson will examine how the design and use of pricing algorithms can promote efficiency while avoiding anticompetitive effects. And on 18 September, Senior Managing Director Subbu Ramanarayanan will join a discussion examining current trends and debates shaping US antitrust policy, including the challenges and potential directions for future enforcement.

For over 50 years, the Fordham Competition Law Institute has presented the annual Conference on International Law and Policy, widely recognized as one of the premier events in the field.
